With the most up to date specification, a new motorhome could give you the best possible experience. What’s more, buying a new motorhome is very exciting!
On the other hand, a used or preowned motorhome could help you save significant amounts of money. Many of our used motorhomes are only 3 or 4 years old, so they’re still in great condition. You may also choose to redecorate it to your own taste too, so that you’ve put your own personal stamp on it!
How many beds do you need?
Of course, one of the first things you should consider is how many people does your motorhome need to house. Our extensive range of motorhomes has a variety of berth numbers, from 2 to 7. It’s important to know the size of the motorhome that you need, so you can very easily narrow your search.
The sleeping arrangements can vary across the different models and makes, but the most common is a fixed rear bed. Other bed arrangements include an island bed, that can be accessed from either side, and twin singles. You may also come across a French bed, which is the same as an island bed but with access to only one side.
What style of motorhome do you need?
There are 4 main styles of motorhome, each with their own unique features. This may also have an impact on your decision when it comes to a buying a motorhome. Low profile motorhomes are incredibly popular thanks to their sleek appearance, and are often fitted with a variety of layouts for you to choose from.
The A Class motorhome is probably the most spacious, offering generously sized rooms and storage. With integrated bodywork, the A Class is often deemed to be the most luxurious.
An overcab motorhome is particularly good for families, as it includes an overcab bed. This is a permanent fixture, offering a practical solution for large groups. The last style is a van conversion; this provides a great gap between a car and a larger, coach-built motorhome.
